Raseborg Castle
Raseborgsky Castle is one of the most ancient fortifications in Finland. The castle was built back in the 14th century and served to protect the interests of Sweden in southern Finland, was an important military fortification. In those days, the rock on which the castle stands, was surrounded by water, which was a double protection with high stone walls of the fortress. Over time, the castle lost its strategic importance and was abandoned by as much as three years.
Nowadays, you can see the restored castle walls and reconstructed picture. During the summer there are guided tours.
